Description/Duties :
|
Reports to: Resort Manager / General Manager
Job Description:
•Prepare BOQ based on project documents (drawings and specification).
•Prepare MS Project Program based on project documents
•Liaise with project architect, designer from inception to completion of project.
•Liaise with prospective contractors, prepare tender documents.
•Call in tenders and evaluate tenders on receipt.
•Prepare construction contract documents, issue contract to selected tenderer.
•Coordinate with Resort personnel on issues related to the construction.
•Assist the project supervisor to run the project construction/ installation works.
•Coordinate with project supervisor; ascertain project progress is as per program.
•If project status is behind, submit report indicate means of possible recovery.
Preferred nationality: Asian
Single/Marital status: Open (Keeping in mind, accommodation is on a single status)
Professional qualifications:
Fully Qualified B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
The prospective candidate should have a Quantity Surveyor (QS) background.
Does not have to be professional QS, but with experience.
Such a person should be able to work out material requirements for small projects.
Length and type of experience:
At least 5 years experience in the field of Construction, Have handled in his past experience at least 1 or 2 projects independently.
Preferably from a multi property hotel chain.
Language: Excellent in English, both written and verbal communication.
Proficiency is any other Language will be preferable.
Personal attributes/Personality:
Enterprising, Good Skills required in Leadership, Communication, Interpersonal Skills, High on Team orientation.
Able to work under aggressive deadlines.
Contract start date and duration: As earliest as possible.
Minimum of 2 years contractual commitment.
Salary: Monthly Base Salary between USD.2000/‐to USD.2500/‐ (This depends on work experience)
